Ōura combines advanced sensor technology and a minimal design with an easy-to-use mobile app to deliver precise, personalized health insights straight from the most reliable source: your body.

Brand Guidelines

To better disseminate the Ōura Brand Guidelines and facilitate easier digestion of brand standards we created an online, always-up-to-date, web-based guideline platform that any Ōuranian can access on the fly.

Packaging

With the launch of the Ōura Gen 3 Ring we needed to update and up-level our existing packaging solution. Referencing gift-giving, jewelry, and industry specific packaging solutions we crafted a unique and colorful package to house this luxury health-tech wearable resulting in a stand-out unboxing experience.

Phase One: Ideation

Early ideation was based on five principles: revealing delight when opening package, seamless simplicity in its design, graphic functionality, presentation of a gift, and finally telling a story with color.

Phase Two: Rendering

Next we rendered our strongest concepts to test color, paper choice, graphics/branding, opening experience, and the internal order and distribution of contents.

Phase Three: Finalization

The final design is a “clam-shell” box reminiscent of luxury jewelry boxes. Once opened the Ōura Ring is displayed prominently with minimal distractions. The contents (Charger, USB cable, documentation) are all stacked vertically with pull tabs allowing for easy access. The USB cable is housed in a custom paper-based reusable cable puck. We wrapped the exterior of the box in a custom dyed paper.

App Onboarding

To guide new users through setting up their new ring, we crafted an easy to follow onboarding experience to swiftly get users connected and acquainted with their new ring.
